Guessing game

Explain multi-level thinking, the importance of anticipating other players’ behavior, and their influence on outcomes. Inspired by the Keynesian beauty contest, all students try to estimate the value of 2 / 3 of their class’s average (or other fraction).

Students are presented with a question (e.g., "Guess 2/3 of the class average") and a linear scale from 1 to 100 to pick their answer. Then the model calculates the fraction of the average (or median, as you define it), plots the submissions on a chart and highlights the top student picks.
